We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Controller P&A to support the
Commercial Finance department, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance. This role
offers the opportunity to act as a key finance business partner within one of the most important
parts of the business.
What’s the job all about?
With the continued focus on strengthening financial performance across the organization, the
position of Business Controller P&A plays a critical role. Parts & Accessories is a key driver of
margin, customer value, and operational performance.
In this role, you will provide financial insights that support decision-making, improve margins,
and strengthen cost control. You will translate financial data into practical actions, helping the
business maintain and improve a healthy and sustainable performance level. You will work
closely with commercial stakeholders and contribute directly to operational improvements.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
You’ll juggle a variety of responsibilities, including:
• Analyzing financial results, margins, and working capital on a monthly basis
• Supporting and delivering the monthly closing process and financial control activities
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and latest estimates
• Delivering weekly cash-flow forecasts
• Supporting the Sales Director in explaining the story behind the numbers
• Acting as a member of the local management team
• Preparing analysis on margin performance, turnover mix, and cost control
• Building business cases to support initiatives and decision-making
• Ensuring reporting requirements from Group and other stakeholders are delivered on time
• Acting as a finance point of contact for business-related questions
• Participating in improvement projects, such as distribution cost optimization initiatives
• Collaborating closely with the Business Controller Bikes and providing backup support when required
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic commercial
environment. If this sounds like you, you’ll likely have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, Controlling,
or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including experience in business control
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, consumer goods, or similar industries
• Strong understanding of General Ledger processes and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing procedures
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
• A data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
• Professional English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Native-level Dutch language skills
• A team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on collaboration
