Objective of the role (Why)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Digital / IT is responsible for Ayvens Central Finance Mission Statement which is to both being a financial guardian and a strategic partner to the business, focusing on Digital / IT scope of the Group (Central IT costs + Local IT costs).
This activity covers: (i) statutory and SG reporting of management and financial performance, (ii) “value capture”, (iii) IT tools integration management, (iv) coordination and leadership among central stakeholders and also with countries. - FP&A – Digital / IT is key in planning, anticipating, executing, managing and adapting the financial trajectory incl. capex management. Thanks to its comprehensive financial planning and analysis, and proactive performance management, it contributes to decision-making by the top management through robust business control processes. Getting the storyline behind the financial figures to steer, monitor and predict. Value creation is key by process optimization, smarter spending program and Planning & Controlling cycles. Focus area is Global Digital & IT, in where the Central IT costs + Local IT costs are in scope.
- FP&A – Digital / IT is instrumental in the communication across the group, in both directions between top management and countries, either through regional FDs, CIOs or directly. It also plays a key pivotal role between the accounting Digital / IT and overall FP&A teams. By nature, it drives the financial management of the IT departments of Holding and of the countries.
- It develops management standards and reporting tools to smoothen the financial process and drives the financial calendar to optimize the workload in financial teams.
- As a consequence, FP&A – Digital / IT is a key contributor to all projects and strategic initiatives. As such, it also participates in strategic works with the shareholder Societe Generale.
Areas of responsibilities (What)
Main missions:
- Lead and manage the team in charge of the following missions:
- Own, produce, and present accurate and relevant statutory and SG reporting of Ayvens group’s management and financial performance (monthly and quarterly)
- Produce consistent, accurate, and insightful financial reports supporting the Digital & IT function (incl. CIO office), regional directors, countries, and other relevant central functions.
- Analyze the performance, contribute to objectives setting and explain deviations vs. objectives (budget)
- Own and coordinate budget process with multiple stakeholders
- Own and manage the list of Capex (and subsequent amortization schedule) together with accounting, ensuring best practices and reflecting it properly in Budget and FC
- Own and manage the Digital / IT Intercompany rebill process, following the transfer pricing rules and be the key point of contact for countries and relevant central departments (i.e. central Digital & IT, CIO office and transfer pricing team)
- Be the contact point about business/financial performance for top management, local, regional and central teams as well as SG
- Propose actions to better steer the financial performance
- Manage own team and the relations with stakeholders of various seniority levels
- Main / key point of contact as finance business partner for central Digital & IT function (incl. CIO office)
Detailed responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team in Bucharest (4 FTEs) in charge of the following responsibilities:
- Own, produce, and present consistent, accurate, and insightful Digital / IT reporting (countries and Group), fulfilling the requirements that come from top management within Ayvens (Exco, central Digital & IT, CIO office) and also SG. Reporting by FP&A is the single source of truth used by management for business review and decision making
- Explain the stakes, objectives, risks, deviation vs objectives (variance analysis) to stakeholders of various levels of seniority and financial knowledge (management, local and central teams). Serve as a key liaison between finance and other departments, providing financial expertise and support to drive business results.
- Design relevant dashboards / reports and adapt them whenever necessary, manage/update/issue internal allocation/analytical rules to better measure the performance.
- Responsible for keeping the list of Capex up-to-date and accurate, which is then also used as the basis in forecasting P&L and BS in Budget and FC process.
- Responsible for maintaining the report with the list of IT activities / items in the level of details that are required for Intercompany rebill process which follows the transfer pricing rules, to have a clear and transparent view on how the IC rebill amounts are calculated and enable answering relevant questions from countries and central team.
- Responsible for delivering ad-hoc requests, SG required projects, and strategic initiatives (harmonization, quantification, validation, follow-up, reporting). FP&A is the entry point for all performance-related topics. This includes SG requests on reporting e.g. for ECB requirements, KPIs, trajectory plans, Global IT project business cases
- Lead and own FC and budget process for Digital / IT, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders (countries, central, or other finance and IT teams in Ayvens and SG, etc.), managing deliverables and deadlines/constraints. Identify actions to meet objectives and close monitoring of implementation and financial impacts
- Finance business partner and main finance point of contact for central Digital & IT (incl. CIO office, local CIO and CFO), supporting with business reports, queries and all FP&A related processes
Competencies (How)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid understanding of business control principles, internal controls,
- Solid experience with an understanding of financial statements, month-end review, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Ability to manage costs/spends, propose (remediation) actions and have a proactive dialogue with Group and local CIO, local CFO and FP&A to meet the Group’s objectives
- Presentation skills
- Ability to process big data and create clean and organized Excel spreadsheet.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines with high quality, accurate output
- Good interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and ability to manage a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability articulate complex issues in a crisp and clear manner, and ability to present and communicate to senior management and board level

Education / knowledge
- Masters’ degree in business/finance/accounting
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in FP&A or relevant field (financial performance analysis, corporate finance, M&A)
- Previous people manager experience is preferred
- Experience in IT or Capex controlling is a plus
Skills
- Ability to process big data and create clean and organized Excel spreadsheet.
- Ability to create clear, sharp and straight-to-the-point presentations

IT Applications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- ThinkCell for presentation building; Tempo, Pyramid for time writing.
- Proficient with financial reporting, consolidation, and planning tools (e.g. SAP BPC, HFM, OneStream).
