THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile CRM Specialist to both shape the global CRM strategy and drive execution of campaigns and content across Karl Lagerfeld’s retail and e-commerce channels. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise, ensuring CRM delivers meaningful customer experiences, loyalty, and incremental revenue. Managing an Email Marketing Coordinator, this individual will lead lifecycle strategy, oversee campaign execution, and optimize creative performance to maximize customer engagement and commercial results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own the global CRM strategy across retail and e-commerce, aligned with business goals.
  • Define customer segmentation and lifecycle journeys to personalize the customer experience.
  • Manage and mentor the Email Coordinator, ensuring flawless execution of campaigns.
  • Act as the CRM subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, e-commerce, retail, brand, IT).

Customer Data & Insights

  • Consolidate and manage customer data from multiple sources (POS, e-commerce, email, loyalty).
  • Ensure a 360° customer view with strong data governance and GDPR compliance.
  • Translate data into actionable insights, reporting on KPIs such as engagement, CLV, churn, and campaign ROI.

Campaigns & Content

  • Own and execute the CRM campaign calendar (newsletters, promotions, lifecycle programs).
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to deliver engaging, on-brand CRM content.
  • Run robust A/B tests on subject lines, content blocks, offers, and cadence.
  • Develop and optimize lifecycle programs (welcome, post-purchase, win-back, loyalty triggers).

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor, analyze, and report weekly/monthly on CRM performance.
  • Continuously improve strategy and creative execution based on results.
  • ]Drive incremental revenue growth from subscribers, with a focus on repeat purchases and loyalty.

THE PROFILE

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement (ideally in fashion, luxury, or lifestyle retail).
  • Proven track record in both strategic leadership and hands-on campaign execution.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Shopify, Emarsys, Klaviyo, or similar) and automation tools.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
