As part of our Ecommerce team, you’ll play an important role in bringing OLAF’s collections to life online and making sure our customers have a seamless experience from discovery to delivery. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive and ambitious Ecommerce Specialist to join our Amsterdam office. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our webshop while taking ownership of areas such as product management, onsite content, merchandising, SEO and customer experience. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Production, Design, Operations and our digital partners to keep our online store accurate, inspiring and commercially effective. At the same time, you’ll be close to our customers, responding to their questions and using their feedback to continuously improve the OLAF experience. What you’ll doEcommerce & MerchandisingManage the day-to-day operation of OLAF’s Shopify webshop, ensuring products, pricing, availability and content are accurate and up to date.Manage product listings and inventory information, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency with the OLAF brand.Organise and optimise collections, product placement and onsite merchandising based on campaigns, commercial priorities, customer behaviour and stock availability.Coordinate and execute product launches, collection drops, collaborations and campaigns, ensuring everything is ready and launched on time.Regularly refresh website content, including banners, collections, landing pages and promotional content.Ensure the webshop delivers a consistent and inspiring brand experience across desktop and mobile. Performance & ConversionMonitor and analyse ecommerce performance using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics and other relevant tools.Track key ecommerce KPIs such as revenue, conversion rate, average order value, traffic, sell-through and returns.Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and commercial performance based on data, customer behaviour and feedback.Support conversion optimisation initiatives, including testing content, product presentation, navigation and onsite placements.Translate insights into practical improvements and report regularly on ecommerce performance, learnings and initiatives. Content & SEOCreate, update and optimise website content in line with OLAF’s brand identity, campaigns and commercial priorities.Build and maintain landing pages and campaign pages, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and delivered on time.Manage and execute SEO initiatives, including keyword optimisation, onsite content and other relevant improvements.Monitor SEO performance and KPIs and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility.Research ecommerce, fashion and digital trends and competitor activity to identify relevant opportunities for OLAF. Marketing & CampaignsWork closely with the Marketing team and our digital marketing partner to align ecommerce activity with the campaign and content calendar.Gather and coordinate product information with Production, Design, Marketing and other relevant teams.Ensure all product launches, campaigns and website updates are executed accurately and on schedule.Maintain clear timelines and ownership of ecommerce deliverables across multiple projects. Customer Service & Customer ExperienceManage day-to-day customer inquiries, including product information, order status, shipping, returns and exchanges.Respond to customers quickly, professionally and with empathy, ensuring a high-quality and on-brand customer experience.Resolve customer questions and issues while working closely with Operations, Logistics and other relevant teams when needed.Identify recurring customer questions, pain points and product feedback and translate these insights into improvements to the webshop, product information and customer experience.Help continuously improve the customer journey from first visit through purchase and post-purchase. Loyalty & RetentionOwn and manage the OLAF loyalty programme and identify opportunities to improve its effectiveness.Work with Marketing and other relevant teams to strengthen customer engagement, repeat purchase and retention.Use customer and sales insights to identify opportunities to improve the overall customer relationship. What you bring1–3 years of hands-on experience in ecommerce, digital commerce or a related role; experience within fashion or lifestyle is a strong plus.Hands-on experience with ShopifyA strong understanding of ecommerce performance metrics and how to turn data into actionable improvements.Experience with ecommerce analytics, CRO, onsite merchandising and/or SEO.Experience with CRM or loyalty platforms such as Klaviyo is a plus.Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset, combined with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.A proactive, hands-on attitude: you spot opportunities, take ownership and get things done.Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can change quickly.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.A genuine interest in fashion, culture and digital commerce.
