Job Title

Technical Lead – Data & AI

Job Description

We are seeking a senior, business-oriented Technical Lead – Data & AI to drive AI-driven projects across our operational, commercial, and clinical domains.

This is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise-wide influence and high autonomy.

You will operate at the intersection of classical machine learning, advanced analytics, deep learning, and emerging technologies such as GenAI and Agent-based AI. You will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the Data Science team, translating strategic challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable impact.

This role is designed for an experienced AI leader who wants to operate at enterprise scale: shaping direction, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering tangible business value across multiple domains.

Your role

  • You will lead and drive AI initiatives that improve operational performance (including service optimization and predictive maintenance), accelerate commercial growth (forecasting, installed base analytics), and enhance clinical workflows and outcomes through data-driven solutions.

  • You will partner directly with senior stakeholders across these domains to identify high-value opportunities, structure ambiguous problems, and translate them into actionable AI roadmaps.

  • You will define end-to-end solution architectures across classical ML, deep learning, optimization, and GenAI, making technology choices based on business value rather than novelty. You will ensure scalable deployment through strong engineering and MLOps practices, guide experimentation and prototyping efforts, and raise the overall maturity of AI delivery standards.

  • In addition, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical authority, influencing without formal authority, aligning cross-functional teams, challenging assumptions when needed, and ensuring disciplined prioritization of AI investments. You will mentor data scientists, strengthen ways of working, and serve as a force multiplier for both the team and the broader organization.

You Are Fit If

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, or Advanced Analytics, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade AI solutions in complex business environments.

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Proven ability to drive measurable business impact through enterprise-scale AI initiatives while operating effectively in cross-functional organizations.

  • Strong experience designing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions on modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), with solid understanding of data architecture, MLOps, and full solution lifecycle management.

  • Strong foundation across classical machine learning (regression, tree-based models, time series, anomaly detection), deep learning, and advanced analytics.

  • Experience applying practical GenAI/LLM solutions, and emerging Agent AI architectures in real-world use cases.

  • Enterprise-minded leader with strong business acumen, able to bring clarity to ambiguity, translate complex challenges into actionable roadmaps.
