We’re looking for a Global Content Specialist (Philips Hue) to join our Global Consumer Marketing team.

As a Global Content Specialist you’ll be responsible for the development of impactful product content, which creates growth for Philips Hue, the category leader in smart lighting.

The team

You will join our Global Marketing Communications Team for Philips Hue. The team consists of enthusiastic global campaign managers, marketing communications & social media specialists, who are passionate about building our Philips Hue brand. Are you passionate as well and ready to make impact for customers and organization? Do you have a passion for customer insights, creative content and a hands-on approach? Then we are looking for you!

What you’ll do

  • You’ll be responsible for all content which is needed for successful product launches. You’ll define a message architecture, with the key benefits, based on customer insights. And you make sure that great assets are produced for the product detail page and for e-tailers, to boost online sales.
  • You coordinate with your colleagues the launch in organic touchpoints, like CRM, organic social and web. To ensure consistent and accurate messaging across all assets.
  • You’ll manage internal and external creative and production agencies to make sure that assets are on quality, on time and on budget. You also like to produce and create simple assets yourself.
  • You’ll evaluate and monitor the quality of the assets and adjust improve.
  • You’ll interact on an ongoing basis with markets, who will localise and use the produced assets and adjust based on their feedback.
  • You’ll interact on an ongoing basis with the Product management teams and with the E-commerce team.
  • Annual budget planning and management.

Skills and Experience

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • You’ve over 3 years of marketing communication experience in a corporate environment, and are owner of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or a related discipline.
  • Fluent English is a must (both oral and written)
  • You are customer obsessed and are able to translate customer needs into ideas, experiments and content.
  • You are creative and have a passion for content and execution.
  • You’ve strong knowledge of digital communications and have analytical skills to use data to optimize and make decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting, and maintain a strategic, forward-thinking approach.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication-, projectmanagement- and stakeholder management skills.
